This category rewards excellence in FDI activity that takes place outside of the two major FDI hubs in the Republic of Ireland (Dublin City and Cork City). This award will honour the outstanding inward investment (Financial, recruitment, R&D etc) made by a dynamic, high growth, early stage company with the potential to grow exponentially and create a large number of jobs. The Commitment to Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award
DE&I is a key component of any successful organisation and this category will shine a light on the best practice programmes and activity in FDI companies in the Republic of Ireland. This category looks at DE&I in the workplace across (but not limited to) cultural, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age and physical disability. The winning organisation will demonstrate a company wide focus on diversity, equality and inclusion and highlight specific projects and initiatives around same. They will also demonstrate the implementation of these practices throughout the organisation from senior management and moving through all verticals and areas of the business. The winning entry in this category will demonstrate how business activity has created a diverse and inclusive working environment to the benefit of staff and the business. This award aims to recognise FDI Companies operating in the Republic of Ireland which are leading the field in this increasingly important activity. Entrants should be able to point to societal, customer and employee engagement, the linking of the CSR initiative with the organisation, and the results and benefits obtained. The knock on effect of overseas owned organisations is perhaps most strongly evident in their policies on sourcing and purchasing in the Republic of Ireland. This award looks for best practice in local sourcing demonstrating real contribution to the Irish economy and the winning entry will demonstrate this. This award is open to organisations, based in the Republic of Ireland that act as suppliers to foreign FDI companies operating in this market Ongoing activity is admissible.
